Sehr gut
Das Zimmer war von der Ausstattung und Ausblick hervorragend. Es ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber, gross und komfortabel man sollte sich nicht an der Optik stören sondern es als Retro genießen.
Es gab nach 2 Tagen eine Abfrage der Zufriedenheit. Wir haben einen Punkt angebracht, dieser wurde völlig ignoriert und es kam eine automatische Antwort zurück. Dann ist es besser man frägt nicht nach.

„Das beste am Hotel ist seine Lage und der tolle Garten
Das Hotel liegt ruhig aber verkehrsgünstig, da sich in direkter Nähe die Bushaltestellen mehrerer Buslinien befinden. Auch der Bus vom Flughafen hält direkt vor dem Hotel. Wir hatte ein großes Zimmer mit Balkon im 4. Stock mit einer tollen Aussicht über die Stadt. Die kleine Küche ist mit einer Spüle, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank und 2 Herdplatten ausgestattet. Ein wenig Geschirr zum Zubereiten kleinerer Mahlzeiten ist auch da. Was wir sehr vermisst haben war ein Regal zum ablegen unserer Kleidungsstücke. Das Bad hat einen schönen breiten Waschtisch. Die Betten waren groß und bequem. Die ganze Hotelanlage ist in einen wunderschönen Garten integriert in dem auch zwei größere, schöne unbeheizte Pools sind. Der kleinere, beheizte Indoor Pool hatte ca. 25 Grad. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels befinden sich zwei kleinere Supermärkte und eine Bäckerei. Auch ein großer Supermarkt ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Sowohl die Innenstadt von Funchal, der Hafen, als auch die Hotelpromenade sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Leider hat das Zimmer im Eingangsbereich über keine Garderobe oder Haken verfügt, auf der man schnell Jacken und andere Kleidungsstücke aufhängen konnte. Der Kleiderschrank hatte nur eine Kleiderstange aber keine Fächer. So dass wir überwiegend aus dem Koffer gelebt haben. Für den Koffer war kein Kofferständer oder ein Ablagebrett zum rückenschonenden abstellen des Koffers da. Die enge Dusche ist in der Badewanne integriert. Der Duschkopf war in der Halterung nicht höhenverstellbar.

Hervorragend
Das Hotelzimmer (Superior Studio) war gross und hell. Der Garten ist sehr schön und eine Oase der Ruhe. Super war, dass nebst dem Buffet in fünf a la carte Restaurants gegessen werden konnte. Zwei waren im Hotel selber und drei waren im Pestana Grand (ca. 2.3 km entfernt). Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.
Leider waren unsere Zimmer direkt über dem Wintergarten und wir hörten jeden Abend bis 23.00 Uhr sehr laute Musik. Auch die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Schlüssel für den Safe kann an der Rezeption abgeholt werden. Wir erhielten erst einen am dritten Tag, vorher wurden wir auf eine Warteliste gesetzt.
